Executive Training in Behaviour-based Leadership
Confident Leader – Science-Based Leadership Training in Behaviour-based Leadership
As a senior manager in the construction industry, you bear significant responsibility for both safety and efficiency in your operations. Achieving measurable results regarding accidents, near misses, and sick leave requires more than traditional, reactive methods. Our training offers a scientific approach that helps you promote safe behaviours before accidents occur, shifting your focus from managing risks to preventing them—with an emphasis on behaviour.
The training program is based on Behaviour-Based Safety (BBS) and Organisational Behaviour Management (OBM), both of which are scientifically proven methods for strengthening safety culture. We have developed the programme based on research conducted by Behaviour Design Group in collaboration with the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology.

About Our Program
During the training, you will learn to identify, describe, and increase the frequency of safe behaviours in high-risk situations—regardless of your level within the organisation. You will gain insights into which leadership behaviours have the greatest impact on safety, how management’s actions shape the safety culture, and what organisational conditions are needed to create a sustainable and safe workplace.
The course covers topics such as:
- How Behaviour and Safety Culture Interact
- The Role of Leadership in Shaping a Safety Culture and Promoting Desirable Behaviours
- How Structures, Monitoring, and Key Performance Indicators Influence and Drive the Safety Culture Forward
Invest a day on this, and you’ll deepen your understanding of how to influence human behaviour and develop a concrete plan for driving behavioural change that will steer your safety culture in the right direction.
